About Cam Research Corporation

Founded in 1986 Cam Research Corporation designs and grinds championship winning camshaft profiles and valve train components for Fords.

Traditionally cam manufacturers print a catalog and force customers to choose a cam based on a brief description of the item and how it is supposed to work in the engine.  At Cam Research we think there is a better way to choose a camshaft.  We talk to you about your project, what you want to achieve and discuss the options with you.  Then we design and grind the cam to your project's exact specifications.  We pride ourselves on getting the correct cam profile the 1st time.

Because of the complex nature of cam design, Cam Research focuses on Ford engines only.   Our staff is continually studying air flow through different Ford cylinder heads. This information is key to determining proper valve timing and designing the perfect cam profile.
